A temporary library and panel discussion about books

Presentation and Panel discussion will include:

Willem Henri Lucas (Willem Augustus, UCLA DMA)
Tahli Fisher-Harkham (Family Bookstore)

The "Temporary Library" will include over 60 books lent to us by guest curators: Anne Burdick, Brad Bartlett, Ed Fella, Fred Fellua, Tahli Fisher-Harkham, Catherine Guiral, Simon Johnston, Zak Kyes, Mark Owens, Victoria Lam, Sophine Lim, Willem Henri Lucas, Brian Roetinger, Stuart Smith, Gail Swanlund, Werkplaats Typografie, Michael Worthington, Martin Venezky, Lorraine Wild, and many more.

note: If you are interested i seeing the library come to the event at 6pm. The library will be closed during the lectures.

New: AtRandom #3 will include a bookstore!
The store will offer a range of titles including a selection from the Family Store as well as the Task Newsletter and a selection of small run printed artifacts, instigation's and proclamations.

Prices will range from $1 to $40 so bring your change purse because only cash will be excepted.

AtRandom #3 is inspired by the past of the historic building that we’ve held our events in for the last 2 years. For one night, we will turn the Eagle Rock Center for the Arts back into a public library. Designers from around the globe have offered us, for this one night, access to a selection from their working library. We have assembled these titles into a public library available for this one time.

To cap the event and place the library firmly in a contemporary context we have invited 3 fantastic designers who will give presentations on their recent book design work and a group panel discussion on their aspirations for design and the book.
